If
I look hard enough, I'm certain that I can find a privacy policy that
would fit Winning Associates' needs.
I've looked, but we seem to be the only Web site that does not collect
data on visitors. I'm fairly certain that we have the capability, but
it's too much trouble.
So,
here's our privacy policy:
- We do not
track visitors to our Web site, though we might take a look at what
interests our subscribers most.
- We do not
collect cookies. We don't know how.
- We do keep
the names, addresses, phone numbers, and email addresses of all those
who purchase books or services of subscriptions from us. Have to.
- We do not
collect nor do we have the capability of collecting credit card numbers
from those who do purchase books or services from us.
- You are as
safe on this Web site as anywhere on the internet.
- If you take
our quiz, we might add your email address to our database and
send you periodic informational email. If you don't want to get any
email from us, you'll be offered the opportunity to opt out. If you
are a member of AOL, we suggest that if you subscribe, you check the
subscriber's index periodically to see if anything is new ... or you
might even email me if you haven't heard for a while. Also check the
bulletin board. AOL says that they will be blocking email that they
deem to be "spam," or charging for it. Hmmmm, odd ethics there.
That's all
of it. Any questions, by all means, contact us.
